I'm Johannes, 18 years old, and I graduated from high school in Germany this summer. In October, I flew to Lima with a one-way ticket and am currently travelling around Peru. I'm always looking for adventure and enjoy meeting new people.

Hey,
In my spare time, I have always enjoyed building and crafting, and over time I have acquired some manual skills. I particularly enjoy working with wood and have already completed various projects – including a chicken coop, garden sheds, beds and loft beds, but also smaller items such as knife handles. I have also sanded down and re-oiled several table tops.
About two years ago, I taught myself how to weld and have since completed a number of smaller projects. These include a tandem bicycle and a cargo bike.
I also love sewing. I have made many things, from bags and clothes to curtains and small repairs. I have often done DIY jobs at home or at friends' houses, such as painting walls, repairing the sink or installing new locks. I simply enjoy being active with my hands, and I am always happy when I can help others with my skills.
In addition to DIY, I also enjoy sports and being outdoors. I run regularly, enjoy cycling and often go sailing – but I also love playing football and table tennis. In recent summers, I have gone on many cycling tours, paddling trips and hikes, during which I usually spent the night outdoors in a hammock or tent.
When I was 16, I lived on a traditional sailing ship for six months and sailed across the Atlantic to the Caribbean and back to Germany – an unforgettable experience.
My family has always been very musical. I have been playing the violin since I was four years old and played in various orchestras during my school days, which I always enjoyed very much. Later, I also sang in a choir.
