Hi, I am Johann, 22 years old and living in the Netherlands. I have studied medicine in Groningen for the past 3 years and am looking forward to traveling again this fall. 3 years ago I have already used workaway for my Gap year and had some amazing experiences. I have always travelled plenty with my parents since I was very young. I love surfing and skating. I hope to meet great people on this site where I can stay for a few months.

I now have had my first experience using workaway and it was great. I have 2 months of experience in taking care of a hostel. Tasks like maintenance, cleaning and checking guests in are no problem for me. I stayed in morrocco for 2 months, 1 month in Kenya. Later that gap year I stayed at a workaway hostel in costa rica for 1,5 months and after that travelled all around costa rica and to panama.

Now I am once again on the look out for a new hostel!
