  • Description

I'm an adventurous spirit who developed a love for travelling, experiencing new environments and meeting people from different cultures when I was in my 20's. Initially as a single mum I was lucky enough to have a career that allowed me to pass on my love of travelling to my daughter - who is now 16 - and we have joined workaway to find a six to eight week placement together from mid May this year, when Eve finishes her first public exams at school.
We are both most at home in the outdoors, hiking, in water, with animals or in the kitchen - I'm a pretty accomplished home cook and Eve has an impressive repertoire for a 16-year old. We live in a city but have wonderful countryside around us where we walk our dogs. Think rugged Yorkshire countryside and big skies.
We'd both love to work on a ranch for our workaway experience to understand what goes into caring for larger animals, the opportunity to ride and to see much bigger skies than we're used to.
