Hello,
My name's Jo and I'm from Vancouver Island. I love being outdoors, whether that be hiking, sailing, kayaking, fishing or just out exploring the coast with my dog. I am looking to travel somewhere where I can work with/be around horses as that is something important to me that is missing in my current life. I work as a Commercial Diver and Fishing Guide and like observing/photographing wildlife. I enjoy stepping out of my comfort zone to learn and experience new things.

- Experience Guiding at a Fishing lodge, helping guests, cleaning boats, packing and weighing fish etc.
- Horses- I volunteered for around 3 months in various countries overseas guiding horseback tours. I used to take lessons when I was younger in both western and English, and love being around horses.
- First Aid- I have a variety of first aid training including 90 hour wilderness first aid, marine first aid, Oxygen administrator etc
- Dog training- I worked as a K9 handler for a security company for two years, I learnt so much and am very interested in dog training. I love dogs and have a wonderful little border collie.
- Diving- I do a variety of work including sea urchin harvesting, underwater rigging/inspection/light construction.
- I have experience operating a variety of boats- tenders, fishing boats, trawlers, sailboats. I have my PCOC and SVOP, MED A3 and ROCM.
