Description
We are both interesting and well travelled individuals, with a couple of good stories to tell. We are lovers of all animals and the outdoors, and not afraid to get our hands dirty to get a job done.
I (Robin) grew up in a small town in Botswana, Africa and worked at sea for 10 years. I have spent the last year refurbishing our flat, which has allowed me to pick up lots of useful building skills as well as refine my carpentry skills.
Jesse grew up in the beautiful Italian countryside riding horses and picking olives.
She is very good at logistics and organizing and loves to show she can do a bit of anything by getting involved in everything going. She studied photography and has a solid professional background in tourism and marketing. She currently works as a freelance translator. She also has experience teaching children and loves gardening.
We are both creative and would like the opportunity to express this if possible. We are also handy in the kitchen and love to cook, as well as try local foods. For us, Workaway is an opportunity to give back to the communities that we visit on our travels, as well as a way to immerse ourselves in the local cultures and locations.
