Description

Hi, I’m Jennifer! I was born in the UK, raised a family in the USA, and these days I’m enjoying a new chapter at a slower, more adventurous pace. This year (2025) I’ve already explored Sri Lanka and Indonesia,spent some time Europe and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

I’m 56 and traveling solo for a couple of years, chasing beauty in all its forms—through nature, art, food, and the little details of everyday life. Creativity makes me happiest, whether I’m cooking a meal, arranging flowers, styling a space, or just trying something new. I love meeting people, learning skills, and soaking up different cultures.

A bit about me: I’m tidy, organized, and a non-smoker. I spent years volunteering as a Girl Scout leader and at a homeless shelter, both of which taught me a lot about connection and community. After thirty years of yoga, I felt the pull to become a certified yoga instructor. The outdoors is becoming more and more important to me. I grew up by the beach, so anywhere with water instantly feels like home.

Work-wise, I’m a professional photographer and an amateur painter. Yoga is my favorite way to move, and cooking is my love language—especially when I get to host and share food. I’m also a passionate third-generation gardener, so plant and garden care (including veggies) comes naturally to me.

I’ve maintained a big home, hosted on Airbnb for years, and I currently rent out my property. Before setting off on this adventure, I ran my own business in the USA for 24 years, gaining plenty of experience in sales, marketing, event planning, and working with clients who valued quality and personal service.

Looking ahead, I’d love to fill 2026 with a mix of WorkAway adventures—helping out on the land (olives, vineyards), caring for animals, teaching yoga, exploring hospitality, and just saying yes to new experiences.

Mostly, I’m excited to meet new people, give a hand where I can, and keep learning as I go.

I’m a photographer by trade, and after running a family portrait studio I’ve built strong skills in sales, marketing, social media, interior design, and event planning.

I’m also pretty handy around the home—I’ve renovated and maintained my own properties over the years. This past summer I spent time helping with a community garden and working on a property, taking care of organization, cleaning, and painting. Excellent sewing skills too!

On the creative side, I know how to custom-frame artwork and work with Photoshop. I also speak a bit of French (rusty but still there!) and some limited Spanish.

I’m highly organized, dependable, and not afraid of rolling up my sleeves and putting in hard work.
