Description
I have spent the last several years years working in agricultural research and ecological land management after graduating from university with an environmental science degree. I am now looking to travel and gain new experiences as I take a break from working and figure out my next goals, as I look to one day have my own sustainable /permaculture farm and operate my own business. I had several great experiences through Workaway years ago, and am eager to return to it!

I am a hard-working individual who loves the outdoors, animals, music, cooking, sports, gardening, and being creative. I have alot of experience working in agriculture but am open to a wide variety of volunteer opportunities.

I have alot of experience in agriculture and farm related work through years working in agriculture research as well as spending time on the family farm. I am also experienced and able to help with animal care as I have always had pets of my own. Through workaway and occasional nannying I have child care experience, and am comfortable with babysitting and completing household chores. I also love cooking and trying new foods and recipes!

Jenna was a great workawayer, always happy to turn her hand to anything we asked of her - it was mostly working in the garden doing weeding etc, but she was also great at cleaning in the house and did a bit of child care for our 7 year old daughter.

I stayed with the Vigne's for 2 weeks and had a great experience! The house was beautiful and the room so comfy, and the work was not too hard and mostly outdoors. I stayed with Rod and Caroline for one week and it was a fantastic experience! The b&b has amazing views and the town itself is very nice and a good place to walk around. Jenna stayed with us for one week in February. She was really good at the jobs we gave her which included painting, gardening and cleaning our house. She worked well with minimum supervision and was very thorough.
Jenna also gave Amanda a guitar lesson which was nice.
