Hi!

I’m 46 years old mother of two more-or-less grown-up children who no longer need my everyday care, so I finally have a little more time for myself and for my favorite hobbies: traveling and learning languages.

I’m a former journalist and currently work as a German teacher, partly at a technical secondary school and partly as a freelance tutor. I also create a podcast in German, which combines my love for languages, communication, and storytelling.

Even though I love my job, I’d like to leave it aside for a few weeks and discover new things: explore new places, meet interesting people, and improve my French through real conversations.

I have been learning French for a few years on my own, and now I would love to practice it more in everyday life.

I would be happy to spend about two weeks with friendly and open-minded people. I’m glad to help with household tasks, gardening, childcare, or walking the dog.

I enjoy discovering new flavors, trying recipes, and getting to know local gastronomy.
