Hii :)

I’m Jana, 23 years old, originally from Southern Germany. At the moment I live in Würzburg and I’m doing my Bachelor’s in Psychology, which I’ll finish in February 2026. After that, I’m planning to start my Master’s in Clinical Psychology in October 2026 — which basically means I have some lovely months to travel until then. So yes: I’m currently looking for new adventures and people to share with ;)

After high school, I took a gap year: I worked for about six months and then spent almost seven months traveling. Since then, I’ve been using pretty much any chance to get out and explore. From a three-week hitchhiking trip to Croatia, to a month of surfing in Spain, plus lots of smaller (and some bigger) trips in between — I’m in. From couchsurfing, hitchhiking, hostel life to Workaway… I love all of it.

When I’m not traveling, I’m usually moving: road biking, climbing, skiing, hiking, volleyball — anything that gets me outside is a win. I also love doing creative things like crocheting and embroidery, even though I’m very talented at starting projects… and finishing them two years later or not at all :D

I’d describe myself as responsible, independent, and open-minded. I love adventures and I’m always curious to try new things and learn from people along the way.

Work-wise, I can help with farm work (especially with horses) and I’m confident around animals. I did horseriding for almost 18 years (even though these days I’m more a fan of “let horses be horses”), but I still really miss being around them — so I’m always happy when I get to work with horses again. So I am familiar with all the farm work like mucking up stables, feeding animals, fixing fences and so on.

I’m also happy to support with gardening, cooking, general household tasks, and practical work (if you can show me what to do).

Also, I worked for one year in a residential home for children with psychological disabilities. So I have experience with kids, I'm patient and comfortable taking responsibility in a caring environment.
