Hello, we are James and Emma, both from the North-East of England!

I'm James, an engineer who loves building things and getting my hands dirty. I'm a big fan of being outdoors and always up for trying something new whether it's a sport, a craft, or a skill.

I'm Emma, I work in science communication in healthcare (specifically genetics). I love nature, teaching and learning. I'm a people person and I'll try my hand at pretty much anything. I really enjoy cleaning and I'm not scared of hard work. Just set me a task and I'll get it done!

On a more personal level, music was what brought us together initially. Neither of us play an instrument but we love to listen and attempt to dance!

James - I'm a very hands-on person when working, always happy to try anything. I've worked in a car factory, built stone buildings, built wardrobes from scratch, and plumbed, tiled, wired and fitted a bathroom all to a good standard. I've brewed beer and mead before at home to varying levels of success.

Emma - I really enjoy cleaning! I've done some tiling and painting and I've been a good assistant for James in DIY projects. I was a tutor for 7 years teaching maths, English and science to 11-17 year olds. I am a genetic counsellor by profession so explain difficult concepts in easy to understand ways to help people learn and make decisions about their health. I've made many educational materials and love interacting with people.
