    Hi, I'm Jaggy :)

    I'm a Dutch calisthenics coach who is happiest when I'm moving, learning, and spending time outdoors.

    I'm doing Workaway because I want a simpler rhythm for a while: more nature, more truly meaningful days, and the chance to learn practical skills from hosts through real life and hands-on work such as gardening, maintenance, and small or bigger projects.

    I'm adaptable and like to really immerse myself in the place I'm in. I connect best through doing things together: working side by side, cooking, training, exploring, and sharing daily life. I value health, connection, and a good atmosphere.

    I enjoy early nights, early mornings, daily meditation, and I'm always learning about training, health, and AI. Food-wise I prefer minimally processed, high-protein whole foods, but I'm flexible and usually enjoy cooking and sharing meals. I've spent time in Greece recently and I'm especially drawn to coastal, mountainous, or river areas where I can swim, hike, and live more connected to nature.

    I speak English, Dutch, and Greek, and I'm always learning :)

    Together, we bring a mix of coaching, care, practical help, and great food.

    Jaggy is a calisthenics coach with around four years of experience teaching both groups and one-on-one. He creates personalised training programs and can coach strength, mobility, and movement skills such as handstands, pull-ups, muscle-ups, and backflips, as well as general bodyweight training. He also trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, swimming, trail running, cycling, and freediving, and enjoys helping beginners build confidence, good movement habits, and solid injury-prevention foundations.

    Ioanna is a biologist with a strong interest in gut health and the microbiome, and she is currently publishing a paper on the microbiome of babies. She is deeply caring, loves helping others, and enjoys contributing to spaces where connection, warmth, and fun are part of everyday life. She is also a wonderful cook and loves sharing Greek dishes and a sense of home through food.

    On a practical level, Jaggy is handy and comfortable with tools, including power tools, and happy to help with gardening, outdoor tasks, general maintenance, and simple repairs. He can also help with computers, basic programming, AI-related tasks, planning, and organisation. Together, we enjoy creating a healthy, supportive atmosphere and contributing wherever we can be useful.

    We are always up for a challenge: hiking swimming or a mountain day and we also love quiet evenings with a good book. We are into deep conversations about life, training, philosophy, and personal growth, and we connect best through shared activities like cooking or moving together.

    Our perfect day together starts with a morning training including some acro :) then some sort of outside challenge and after that a swim in the sun and some hammock time. The rest of the day we will spend on cooking and discovering more about each other and our purpuse/ desires.
