Hello! I'm Jacob from England where I work as a waiter in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. I grew up in Leeds and went to Cambridge to study Mathematics but had a hard time at university and I am currently re-thinking my life direction. I figured, since I am in my mid-twenties I may as well throw myself into a lifelong dream of mine to pursue a career in music. This dream will certainly fail but I find it so rewarding sharing my music with people that I don't see myself giving it up any-time soon.

I love meeting new people and learning about different cultures through music, food, literature and language. To socialise I love going for walks in nature, sharing some drinks at a bar or spending the evening playing board games! I am not an overly competitive person but I love sport; I rock-climbed semi seriously in the past, hillwalking is one of my deep loves, water sports make me incredibly happy and I want to improve at skateboarding.

Work you could set me on: I really enjoy cooking, I have plenty of experience with reorganising and tidying spaces, I have really enjoyed all the construction work I have done before through workaway & I am very eager to try more. I love working outdoors, whether it's weeding in the garden, putting up fences around land or shovelling sheep dung, I am in my element!

About my personality I am a very driven person and I can really throw myself into an ambition, dream or task at hand. People I know well or have worked alongside have also described me as an empathetic and respectful person, I have a strong desire to understand the world and the people that fill it especially if I find myself disagreeing with them: I believe in trying to find at least some common ground with others and have a very strong faith in humanity (as much as it may be tested).

Hola! Soy Jacob de ingleterra, donde lavoro en un "pub" (como un bar) en Yorkshire. En mi tiempos libros ecrsibo canciones con mi guitarra y me gusta caminar en los arbols cerca de mi casa. Me encanta encontrar personas nuevas y appreder más sobre culturas differentes con musica, comida, poesía y idiomas.

No conosco españa muy bueno (he visitado barcelona cuando era un niño) pero hablo un poco de español despues viajando en chile con workaway y couchsurfing un año pasado.

¡Hola! Soy Jacob, de Inglaterra, donde trabajo como camarero en Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. Soy de Leeds y fui a Cambridge a estudiar Matemáticas, pero era un tiempo dificile en la universidad. Ahora mismo estoy intentando a ser un musico(cantante y guitarrista pero tengo experencia con producciones musicales) me encanta compartir mi música con la gente!

Me encanta conocer gente nueva y aprender sobre diferentes culturas a través de la música, la comida, la literatura y los idiomas. Para socializar, me encanta hacer paseos por la naturaleza, tomar algo en un bar o pasar la tarde jugando a juegos de mesa. No soy una persona demasiada competitiva, pero me encanta el deporte; en el pasado haré escalada, el senderismo es una de mis grandes pasiones, los deportes acuáticos me hacen increíblemente feliz y quiero mejorar en el skate.

Tareas que me podrías dar: Me encanta cocinar, tengo mucha experiencia en ordenando espacios, he disfrutado mucho los trabajos de construcción que he hecho antes a través de Workaway y estoy deseando probar más. Me encanta trabajar al aire libre, como trabajando el jardín, haciendo vallas o recogiendo estiércol de oveja, ¡estoy en mi elemento!

Para mi personalidad, soy una persona muy motivada. Las personas que me conocen bien me describen como una persona empática y respetuosa; tengo un fuerte deseo de comprender el mundo y a los personas que lo habitan, especialmente si no estoy de acuerdo con ellas: creo en intentar encontrar al menos algún punto en común con los demás y tengo una fe muy firme en la humanidad (por mucho que se ponga a prueba).
