Hello! My name is Jacob. I have lived all over the United States - New York, Florida, and Washington DC to name a few! I was working in Florida at a University as the Coordinator of Campus Recreation. I recently quit that job to explore South America! I am very excited to volunteer to meet more people and practice my spanish which I am motivated to improve. I love anything to do with the outdoors: hiking, biking, running, swimming, etc. I really enjoy doing workaways since they give me an opportunity to understand the country I am in better than just regular traveling.

Overall I am an extremely hard worker. My personality is very organised, timely, polite, and friendly.

I have developed great customer service skills, most of my jobs have had some component of it being customer service oriented. These jobs that were customer service oriented are the following: Coordinator of Campus Recreation (New College of Florida, Florida USA), Volunteer Coordinator (The Food Depot, New Mexico USA), Waiter (Qui Mill, Cambridge UK), Front Desk Staff (Chevy Chase Athletic Club, Washington DC USA) to name a few.

I also have to work with spreadsheets, scheduling platforms, and the like so adapting to your technology system should not be a problem. Also I am happy to do any manual labor, when I was working as a Volunteer Coordinator I had to lift heavy bags and boxes of food every day.

I also have experience managing staff. I would be happy to take on any leadership roles that were available.

I worked as a Recreation Coordinator in the United States therefore I am very passionate about sport and outdoor activities. My strengths are organising, customer service, leadership, and everything to do with the outdoors. I would be happy to lead workout groups, hikes, or other group sessions that involve being active. I also can help on the backend of operations. I enjoy managing and organising.
