Thailand - from Jul 2025 until Dec 2025 View allDescription
Hello! My name is Izzy, I work full time as an aerospace engineer but my main career was looking after children with disabilities. What makes me happy is my family, my dog, being around my friends and being in a warm country! I often feel motivated by wanting to do something to help someone or something, and so my motivation mostly comes from knowing I am doing some good for someone.
I travelled around Thailand for 4 months last year and it has by far been my most favourite place. The culture, the people, the atmosphere to me is just magical, however the one thing that upset me whilst I was here was seeing the stray animals. I would usually be the one to leave somewhere to go and get food from 7 eleven to feed the dogs! Because of this, I decided I wanted to go back and help them in some way.Interests

I have my own dog firstly, and so I really understand the commitment it takes to be a dog owner. Having a dog makes you more patient, which is something I think will be so beneficial within this work. The jobs I’ve had have always been a lot of physical work such as working with disabled children where I would run around all day with them, I then was a bricklayer which consisted of a lot of heavy loading! And I now work in the aerospace field, where I’m averaging around 20,000 steps a day. I’m very active with going to the gym 5 days a week, so I feel like the physical work for me will be totally fine, in fact I will probably enjoy it. To me, having a good routine is really what makes me feel best, so knowing I would have a solid routine here would keep me grounded and happy. I’m extremely reliable, I will never let anyone down if I’ve said I’m going to do something. But most importantly I LOVE dog.. more than humans and I think dogs always tend to love me too!

Feedback
Very annoying for us as we really rely on every single candidate resulting now in shortage of help which puts the organisation in stress.
We refused many other candidates for Isabel.
