I am a 23 years old Brazilian, who is living in Germany for about 3 years now. On my path, I´ve been doing several volunteering exchanges, but in other platforms, such as HelpX and Worldpacker. (I landed here because my membership on the other ones ended - I´ve been volunteering since 2018). I´ve been always found of travelling and connecting with people. I mean, that's what life should be about, right? :) I am a very musical person and love doing handcrafts. More specifically, I play the ukulele, bongo and guitar. I am also someone who loves putting the body to work. It doesn´t matter what, I´m in: swimming, jogging, bike... Moreover, I am a complete nature fan. I get hypnotized by waterfalls and animals. I also love a self-made food - although I had never learned a real recipe, just doing the best out of the fridge!

My experience in Germany and by travelling through other countries made me a very communicative person, I like to have an open hallway to talk about how things shall work and how can they improve. About my volunteering experiences concretely, I have already learnt some bit about permaculture and working the field in Parma, Italy, and in Guaporé, Brazil, I have helped a mother to take care of her child and prepare the house to move to a new house in Belgium and I have taught maths, biology and english for a wide range of age of children in a school in Ghana. Some other skills I have are flexibility and quick learning. In my three years living in germany, I´ve already worked as a dishwasher, waiter, homework helper, backery seller, beer seller and bike courier - and also studied Biology. So I´d say, hard work is also my thing :)
