Description
What motivates me?
I love working with people and animals. I am working at an asylum for people with mental problems. Sometimes it is an hard and crazy job. But most of the time people just need to tell their story and I just need to be there when they are having an hard time dealing with themself. I love it when a simple talk can change their day.
What I also love are horses (and all other animals except spiders and snakes) I have my own horse called Stip. She is an Appaloosa mare. She is the sweetest, moodiest and funniest horse I have ever met. She makes me happy every day.
Travelling is also very important for me. My favorite place so far is Scotland. I love the nature, mountains, forest and people there. I hope to travel around the world and see all the beautiful places.

More details about your skills
I started with studying animal care. I have loved animals all my life and wanted to make this my job. I did internships at animal farms, dog shelters and horse stables. I loved working outside with the animals. Didn't mind getting dirty or doing some 'shitty' work. However, I found out that unfortunately there is not much work to be found in the Netherlands with animals, so I continued to study.
I went to study social work. I did many internships in psychiatry, prison and shelters. This was so much fun and I found my job in an psychiatric institution. I love my work, but I miss the animals. So in the future i would love to do some combination of working with people and animals together.
I am an open minded person who likes to try new things. At first I can be quite shy, but once I feel comfortable it quickly goes away. I like people who are clear and honest. I like feedback and see it as an opportunity to learn.
I have my own horse called Stip. She is an Appaloosa mare and she is 6 years old. She is a very special horse and i love her so much. She is my first horse and everyday we are learning new things together.
I speak Dutch and English. I've recently started to learn some France. I would love to help people learning Dutch.
