Travelling
Description
Hi! I’m Ignacio – originally from Argentina, but I’ve been on the road for nearly 8 years now.
Travel has shaped the person I am today – open-minded, adaptable, and deeply curious about the world and the people in it.
I’d describe myself as a friendly, easygoing person who enjoys meeting new people and having good, meaningful conversations. I love diving into topics like spirituality, Eastern philosophies (especially Buddhism and Taoism), and different ways of living – but I’m also always up for a laugh and some random banter. I like to keep things lighthearted too – life’s about balance, right?
Some of the things that bring me joy are climbing, trekking, and playing music. I often carry my instrument with me and love sharing music with others, whether it's jamming with new friends or playing for a quiet moment in nature.
Throughout my travels, I’ve been lucky enough to stumble upon the worlds of permaculture and agroforestry – and it was love at first sight. I’m fascinated by how we can work with nature instead of against it, and I jump at any opportunity to learn more hands-on skills in these areas. I’m sure Workaway can been an incredible platform for connecting with projects and people that are aligned with this way of thinking and living.
I’m a passionate learner – whether it’s farming techniques, philosophies, or languages (I find languages absolutely fascinating and love learning from locals). Every place and person has something to teach, and I try to stay open to it all.
Looking forward to connecting and sharing stories, work, and good times!Interests

More details about your skills
Over the years, I’ve built up a wide range of hands-on skills through both work and volunteering. I have a background in landscaping and construction, which has given me a solid foundation in physical work, working with tools, and understanding how to build and maintain outdoor spaces.
During my travels, I’ve volunteered in New Zealand, Australia, Cambodia, Brazil, and Mexico. These experiences opened the door for me to permaculture and agroforestry, and I’ve been soaking up knowledge ever since. Each place taught me something different, from composting systems and natural building techniques, to food forests, companion planting, and sustainable living practices. I’m always eager to learn more and get my hands dirty.
I take pride in being a hard worker and a reliable presence wherever I go. I treat every place I stay like it’s my own home, putting care, love, and attention into every task, whether it’s digging garden beds, cooking meals, or helping with daily chores. I truly enjoy being of service, and I believe the energy you bring to a space matters just as much as the work you do.
I’m always happy to contribute however I can, and I bring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn to every project.Age
