Hello :)

I've been living a nomadic life for the past 4 years, I love travelling (slow travel) & intentional living through volunteering and am wanting to use workaway to facilitate that. I also would love to get to make new connections and help in meaningful ways. I find my sense of accomplishment when I know I’ve been able to help and make a difference, when I find new ways of doing things that cause improvements and I love a good before and after. I also find satisfaction in simply learning something new.

I'm neurodivergent so the list of mypersonal interests is never ending but most recently:

I've done quite a few work exchanges in the past 4 years. On Canada's west coast doing manual labor jobs like yard work, gardening and housekeeping. Spent 6 weeks at an "Ashram" doing karma yoga, with my main responsibility being housekeeping and taking care of the animals (cats, chickens, pigs, 1 donkey and 1 horse). I also spent 3 months last summer in Mexico volunteering at the reception of a women's hostel doing a variety of tasks like check-ins, some cleaning, organizing events which was such a special experience!

I've worked on and off as a housekeeper since 2014 in a variety of settings: airbnbs, private residences, resort/hotel.

I have some experience farming, a bit of carpentry and painting through workaways here in my home province and working on little projects with my dad.

I have big love for de-cluttering and organizing spaces and I've had the chance to do that mostly at my mom's place (garage, freezer, basement).

Other skills & experience from previous employment include:

-Customer service incl. in the restaurant industry (barista, hostess, food runner)
-Non profit/community work (intervention worker)
-Animating group activities

I love variety and working on a bunch of different projects & tasks and will try anything at least once! I'm also not afraid to get my hands dirty.
