Hi, I'm Heiner.
About me: I am 19 years old and I play handball and love cycling. I grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, before moving to live with my grandmother, who has a small farm in northern Germany.
Why Workaway? I am taking a gap year after finishing my high school diploma. So far, I have travelled through some parts of Europe, where I met wonderful people. Someone recommended Workaway to me for my future travels, and I thought it was a great idea. In the time I wasn't travelling, I got my driving licence and helped on my grandmother's farm.
Why France?: I studied French at school, but I never reached a level where I felt comfortable speaking with a stranger, so I would love to improve my French skills. As well as the language, I love the culture and the different facets of nature that France has to offer. It seems such a diverse and lively country, and I would love to get to know it better.

I have limited experience of working on a farm and renovating old farm buildings, but I am motivated and have no problem with repetitive work.

My only work experience is as a handball coach for children aged 10–15.

I am really looking forward to learning new things adding them here as a knew skill.
