Hello,
My name is Hector, I am new to Workaway and looking forward top travelling and meeting lots of new people. I’m from Cornwall in the South-West of England, where I grew up on very rural moorland on a small farm.
I enjoy practical, hands-on work which I’ve pursued in my work. While living in Cornwall and in-between time at university I have worked as labourer and brewer. My free time I fill with plenty of reading, cooking meals and baking bread, running, climbing, and playing board and card games.
I would love to help people projects on Workaway such as house renovations, establishing farms and agricultural projects, rewilding, and animal care. I am a native English speaker with basic French, which I am hoping to develop by spending time in France.

I have experience working in breweries, where I learnt to make beer and enjoyed working in a team. I've worked as a labourer and assistant on building sites, where I learnt some basic building skills which I have developed in my own time doing decoration and building work at home. I enjoy working outdoors and have spent lots of time planting trees and gardening.
I have a full driving licence, and have worked with forklifts and small tractors.
I love cooking and breadmaking, and spend a lot of my time making meals for friends.
