  Description

  Our project consists of making our land a beautiful and sustainable meeting place, for travellers and all kinds of people who want to carry out different activities. There are several ideas we would like to carry out; restore 2 cave houses, build a Moorish oven and dry walls, a small pond, re-cultivate the vegetable garden areas... and many more ideas, such as building an alpine wooden house.
  
  That’s a little description of what I have in mind, I have worked all my life as a mechanic until I closed my garage, sold my house and bought this land. My idea is to travel the world and create this project because I don't share the rhythm nor the direction that society imposes on me.
  
  At the moment, we also have a warehouse that I have built, where I have a lot of tools from my old car restoration garage: there is the possibility of me teaching you how to work with sheet metal and to even restore cars, or to offer a mechanical service to travelers.
  
  These last few years I have been travelling in my van and I have now returned to Workaway to be able to move forward with our project here in Murcia and to meet and share with volunteers.
  
  We ask for around 10 days as a minimum stay- but it is really a trial period to see that you are a good fit
  
  
  Nuestro proyecto consiste en hacer de mi terreno un bonito y sostenible lugar de encuentro, para viajeros y todo tipo de gente que quiera realiza diversas actividades. Hay varias ideas para llevar a cabo; restaurar 2 casas cueva, construir un horno moruno y muros secos, una pequeña balsa, volver a cultivar sus zonas de huerta... y muchas ideas más, como la de construir una casa de madera alpina.
  
  Esto es un poco la descripción de lo que tengo en mente, llevo toda mi vida trabajando y acabo de cerrar mi taller, he vendido mi casa y he comprado este terreno, mi idea es viajar por el mundo y quiero llevar a cabo este proyecto, porque no comparto el ritmo ni la dirección que me impone la sociedad.
  
  En estos últimos años he estado viajando en mi furgo y ahora he vuelto a utilizar Workaway para poder avanzar con nuestro proyecto aquí en Murcia y conocer y compartir con voluntarios.
  
  Pedimos alrededor de 10 días como estancia mínima- pero en realidad es un período de prueba para ver cómo nos llevamos.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  They can enjoy nature and create a new sustainable enclave in a spectacular setting such as the north-west of the Murcia region.
  
  We also have a river that flows at the bottom of the land if you fancy a swim in summer!

  También tenemos un rio que fluye debajo del terreno por si te apetece bañarte en verano!

  Help

  We have many different jobs in process at the moment. We don’t ask for previous experience as we know that everyone needs a starting point and we love that our place is a place for learning. However, we do ask for motivated volunteers! A lot of the help is physically challenging, we just ask that you be prepared for physical help.
  
  Right now we are also looking for help with:
  - The cultivation and care of veggie gardens and fruit trees. (We also have trees that need planting so previous experience is welcomed)
  - Carpentry and furniture restoration
  - Building dry stone walls
  - Preparing food
  -Building walls, using cement and stone.
  
  I have some cars that need restoring so we are also looking for someone with experience in that area.
  
  Here you will be able to learn many building techniques and have the opportunity to get hands on practice. As long as you’re willing to get stuck in, we’ll be happy to have you!
  
  Tenemos muchos trabajos diferentes en proceso en este momento. No pedimos experiencia previa porque sabemos que todo el mundo necesita un punto de partida y nos encanta que nuestro lugar sea un lugar de aprendizaje. Sin embargo, sí pedimos voluntarios motivados. Gran parte del trabajo es físicamente exigente, sólo pedimos que estés preparado para el trabajo físico.
  
  En este momento también estamos buscando ayuda con:
  - El cultivo y cuidado de huertos y árboles frutales. (También tenemos árboles que necesitan ser plantados, por lo que se agradece experiencia previa)
  - Carpintería y restauración de muebles
  - Construcción de muros de piedra seca
  - Preparación de alimentos
  -Construcción de paredes y muros, utilizando cemento y piedra.
  
  Tengo algunos coches que necesitan restauración por lo que también estamos buscando a alguien con experiencia en esa área.
  
  Aquí podrás aprender muchas técnicas de construcción y tendrás la oportunidad de ponerte manos a la obra. Siempre que estés dispuesto a ponerte manos a la obra, ¡estaremos encantados de tenerte!

  Accommodation

  We have several options: A comanche (large tent) consisting of 2 beds and some furniture, a small caravan with a double bed and 2 small beds suitable for children. If needed, more places could be provided.
  
  Tenemos varias opciones: Un comanche (tienda de campaña grande) que consiste de 2 camas y unos muebles, una pequeña caravana con una cama de matrimonio y 2 camas pequeñas que valen para niños. En caso de que se necesitara, se podría facilitar más sitios.
