Hello there! I'm Garrett, a 33 year old doctor from Dundalk in Ireland.

I returned to university to study medicine and I have just finished my first year working as a doctor in a busy Dublin Hospital. This summer I have some time off and would love to experience new places and learn new skills. Basically to spend a few weeks working and living outdoors after a busy year before returning back to work.

My two previous experiences in 2021/22 were fantastic. I learned new skills, language and made lots of new friends. I worked in a yoga and surf hostel in Portugal and after that I taught English in Scafati, a small town just outside Napoli.

I am open to any kind of work and would love to hear of any opportunities available.

My interests include Sport (football, tennis, golf, surfing), hiking, travel, music (I love to play guitar) and reading.

Its hard to know where to begin! I had an absolutely amazing time working here and couldn't imagine a better Workaway experience.
