Description
Hello! we are a family of five living by the River Wye, walking distance from Hay-on-Wye ( 10 mins). We are busy and active creative freelancers but also pouring love into a lovely bungalow surrounded by woods. We welcome home help in whatever way it comes! We have done Workaway for over a decade now and it's been an enriching experience for us all. Looking into September 2026 , our eldest will be homeschooled, so we are welcoming anyone who can spend time with her and support this journey and also someone who can speak English well. She is 11, highly motivated, mature, fun and curious.. we also have another lovely girl age 9 and a brilliant little boy, 5. Our kids are ace, and we are very family centred. We all eat together and we as parents are present as much as possible. We love having someone who can help with meals. We have four furry family members - two cats and two dogs. It's possible we might be away for a few weeks in October so are also looking for house sitters - this would suit a couple or someone who wanted to have their partner / family visit. The house is isolated from neighbours, surrounded by woodland and offering magnificent views. Its a truly magical spot and only a ten minute walk to Hay.

I was welcomed into their lovely home in the gorgeous Welsh countryside warmly. Venetia and Ollie are kind and accommodating hosts with hearts of gold. They have three of the funniest, clever, creative and kind kids I've ever met!

The life with the family was very precious to me.
They are Very warm and kind.
I can’t forget them and the beautiful landscape near house.
