こんにちは !
I'm a 30-year-old French guy living in Japan (Tokyo) for 2 years. I plan to quit the "salary man" life from next September to dive into new adventures!
It would be amazing if I could start these new adventures with some volunteering experiences here in Japan.
I've really enjoyed these 2 years in Tokyo but through Workaway I would like to live something more rural, more Japanese in a way. I'm not interested in Workaway to save money but to live unique experiences.
My dream workaway would be:
- Being in immersion into a Japanese countryside life
- Being part of a project (renovating a traditional house, farming, ...)
- Having the opportunity to meet nice people
I'll be happy to help, learn, and share with you (I'm an engineer but my hands aren't (yet) super skilled)
I can handle basic discussions in Japanese and I'll keep doing my best to improve it
I have a Japanese driving license and a motorbike

However it was a quiet period (hot and Ramadan) so there was not much to do for us
We planned to stay 2 weeks and we finally stayed 3 days...
If you want to be useful I only recommand to make sure it is a touristic period and you will have enough work
