Description

I'm Esther, 24 year old from Finland. I started traveling more after I turned 20 and fell in love with it right away. Mostly I have travelled in France and it keeps attracting me, but I'm also interested in traveling other countries too ofcourse. Learning and growing as a person keeps me motivated thats why I love meeting new people and exploring new places and habits. Apart from spending time with others I also enjoy spending time alone. Now I'm interested in getting to know myself and the world even more, by living outside of Finland as a workawayer.

Learning new languages is exciting! Finnish is my mothertongue, but I have also studied french, english, swedish and a bit of chinese. During comprehensive school i was in a Franco-Finnish school, but sadly my skills are starting to vanish. Now I'd like to improve my French back to it's fluent state so I could use it more in the future. Thats why I'm more than interested in a language exchange. Maybe I could teach some Finnish or english in exchange, or a few words in swedish :D?

I have a big family in which I am the oldest sister. It has taught me important values, patience and skills that are necesssary and needed with kids, such as making food (which I enjoy) and being present. Taking care of them is a big responsibility but I love what it brings out.

I can find beauty in the smallest things which brings me joy in day to day life such as reading, nature and a great weather. My passion and expression can be seen in art through videoprojects, dance and music that I have been making during my gap years while working as a customerservicer, dance teacher and a sales assistant. Currently I'm working as a sales assistant, and luckily now it is possible for me to take a break from work to explore my interests more. I enjoy seeing other peoples art as well by visiting museums and festivals ect. they make me inspired and lets me view the world from new angles.

More details about my language interests
I have always been very interested in learning new languages. First language I learnt after finnish was french. I was in a Franco-Finnish school during comprehensive school, but now I'm starting to lose my skill in french because I haven't used it in so long. The second new language I leant was english, which I'd say I´m fluent in. At school it was a must to learn Swedish, so I also have a little knowledge of that. My main goal at the moment is to travel and to get my french skills back. I'd love to be a workawayer in a french speaking environment to keep me in touch with the language.

My hobbies have been dance (for more than 10 years, styles being ballet, jazz, street and contemporary), video making and editing (due to several videoprojects I´ve made), photography, visual arts (painting, drawing), I've also done some music to test out my creativity (with my laptop). These skills can be used for different tasks in different forms.
I belong to the generation who got their smartphones as preteen ages so I'm quite skilled with smartphones and computers too. If you'd like some help with your emails, projects or contacting people, I'm more than happy to help.
I use socialmedia and I'm a very visual person, so If you need any help or opinions with your social media use or trends, I´d be a great guide :).
I speak fluent Finnish and English, so I can offer to teach a new language or help to improve your skills.
Due to being an older sister to my much younger siblings I get along with kids and can maintain the home. I can make different foods and I can bake. Mostly I cook for my family and friends. My favorite dish to prepare is rice with chicken curry-coconut stew. I quite enjoy washing windows, its such a mindless task. Also general cleaning can be done too. I am a quick learner and I'm interested to learn new skills too, so I´m open to almost anything!

I used to design my own clothes and sew them with my mothers sewing machine. Later I got in to a designing program in high school :D
