Hey, I’m Esther!
I’ve spent the last three years travelling and exploring the world (currently back in Melbourne visiting family) and I’m gearing up for my next adventure in Canada and South America. I love meeting new and interesting people along the way—it’s one of my favourite parts of travel!

I’m passionate about the outdoors—hiking and canoeing are my absolute favourites. I also enjoy board games and jigsaw puzzles, and I have a keen interest in sustainability. Back home, I’ve volunteered on and off in rubbish and recycling education, sharing my love for protecting the environment.

I have a mix of practical and people-focused skills. I’m experienced in safety and supervision as I’ve worked as a lifeaurd for multipe years both in Australia and Canada. I’ve also developed strong leadership and teamwork skills from working as a summer camp counsellor, where I taught and supervised children, led overnight canoe trips, and planned fun activities. I also did a work away in Rhode Island where I helped out with childcare and organising and cleaning around the farm and house. I’m also comfortable with hands-on work, I’ve volunteered on environmental projects, planting trees, maintaining cabins, and clearing large trees and making footpaths. On top of that, I’m a confident communicator, adaptable to new situations, and enjoy meeting new people and learning new skills wherever I go.

I'm passionate about travelling and exploring the world and learning about new cultures and people. I love being surrounded by nature especially going on hikes or reading a good book outdoors. I play a lot of board games, in particularly chess, but I'm always up to learn a new game. I'm currently doing a bachelor of arts on online university. Through that I'm learning Korean as I hope to travel to Korea and become an English teacher over there!
