  • Description

Hi everyone! My name is Eros, and I'm an Italian guy from Rome.

I'm an educator, social worker, and swimming instructor. I have worked with people with disabilities in various contexts: associations, centers, homes, and schools. Part of this work also included hands-on activities like helping with small urban gardens and supporting the integration of people with disabilities into everyday community life. I have also worked in reception centers for people in social disadvantage, helping them with integration and bureaucratic processes. Most recently I worked with the Italian Red Cross, supporting refugees, immigrants, families, and unaccompanied minors who have fled from war-torn countries.

I recently finished this chapter of my life and I'm now dedicating my time to reskilling and redirecting myself toward sustainability, circular economy, and green living. These are topics I feel deeply connected to, not just professionally but personally.

I'm always happy to help with any kind of work. I enjoy challenging myself, learning new things, and meeting and helping people, it's just part of my nature. I'm an easy-going person who loves sharing experiences, because I believe that's the best way to grow both culturally and personally.

One of my goals is to move to Northern Europe. I am drawn to the culture and way of life there: the respect for nature, the sustainability mindset, the quality of life, and the balance between work and personal wellbeing. I also love the way green spaces and cycling infrastructure are integrated into everyday life, even in cities and suburbs. For me, being able to cycle and be surrounded by nature is just part of living well. These are values I want to build my life around.

I lived three years in South Tyrol and that experience shaped me a lot. The slower pace, the connection with nature, and the clean air felt like home to me in a way that Rome never quite did. Rome is also too chaotic for me; I like places where things work, and where there is order, cleanliness, and a civic sense. I like when people respect the city where they live, and in Northern Europe, this resonates a lot more than in Italy.
I love cycling and I have done multi-day cycling trips through different landscapes. I also love long distance walking and I have walked routes like the Camino de Santiago and the Via Francigena. For me, moving slowly through a place is the best way to really understand it.

I'm currently also studying Ayurveda through a two-year course affiliated with an Ayurvedic hospital in Kerala.

I love music, sport, yoga and I'm really into sports. I enjoy cycling and going for long walks. I also enjoy reading and having soft and deep conversations about everything.
We have to respect this planet that host us.

I love moments of relaxation, like simply sitting with a good book or playing board games in good company.
I love places where peace, tranquility, and a community of good people reign.

    Eros :-)
