Description
Hello,
We are now a family of four. Ellie, Matt and 2 children aged 3 and 3 months (will be 7 months when we intend to start our adventure!)! We are looking to explore europe. We hope to visit countries we never have before making new friends and sharing what we have to offer in return for being immersed in a different culture.
Before kids we workawayed as a couple and loved the experience!
We visited France, Canada, Scotland and Iceland, working at farms, building projects, gardens. We like to turn our hands to everything and learn!
We both work as gardeners in Scotland. Matt is working full time at the moment and Ellie is home full time, but as our little one gets older we will go half and half on childcare and gardening to have more variety to our days.
We feel this community gives us the opportunities to learn and work to see how others live. We hope to learn a few more things about food growing, markets gardens, building, world schooling and home educating and everything inbetween!

We are multi-skilled and both hands on and willing to help wherever we can.
We have experience with strimmers, belt sanders, drills, insulating, plasterboarding, taping and mudding, sewing, painting, gardening, foraging, salve making, cooking, cleaning, animal care, milking (we can both milk using machine and Ellie can milk goats by hand), chopping and stacking wood, crafting and bread making!
We're both proficient with computers, Ellie is good at using Word, Excel, etc.
We are most interested in placements where we can learn more about eco/ self sustainable building, food growing and general gardening, raising resilient children, and medical herbs but we are willing to turn our hands to anything and we always enjoy learning new skills. We are return to this site much more mature and with 2 kids!!!

We had a great time with you, and learn a lot and had lots of fun.
The adventures were great, it felt like home and the place was beautiful.
