Hi there!
My name is Elsa, I'm 22 years old from Sweden. I study social science full-time at university, and although I really enjoy studying, I feel like I need to do something drastically different for a while. I love meeting new people, experiencing alternative lifestyles and improve my English skills. That's why I'm planning on going abroad this summer to work and have a change of scenery. I've always been very open-minded and have no problem adapting to different kinds of tasks since I like learning and trying new things. Whether it's working outdoors on a farm, helping with garden work or assisting with house maintenance, I'm excited to contribute in any way I can :)

Nature has always played an important part of my life and my friends and I love hiking in beautiful natural areas in the Swedish forests. I therefore have no issue with living more off grid. Honestly I think it would be really nice to get away from the city for a while since I'm currently sorrounded by traffic noise and people.

I've done workaway in the past - about one and a half years ago. I stayed at a farm in northern Spain and helped out with the host's sheeps. It was an amazing experience and I learned so much about agriculture but also (and this is gonna sound cheesy) about myself. The host I stayed with is no longer active on Workaway, but we are still in contact, so if you need a reference I’d be happy to provide one!

I would love to get the chance to experience something similar again, or something entirely different for that matter. Please reach out if you are in need of any help this summer ;)

- Experience with simple gardening tasks like planting, harvesting, cutting trees and weeding.
- Worked as a cook for two years in a supermarket, so now I can tolerate pretty much any stressful situation and have learned to work efficiently. (Still not an awesome cook though but I'm working on it)
Im also very positive minded and love learning new things. My biggest skill is that i'm a fast learner and if you give me one week I will be able to adabt to basically any work task(;
