Ciao!

My name is Eliška, I’m from the Czech Republic and I’m passionate about traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from all over the world. One of my biggest wishes for this summer is to visit Italy and improve my Italian language skills through real-life experience.

In 2022, right after finishing high school, I spent a year in London working as an au pair for a lovely family. It was a meaningful and enriching experience that taught me a lot about the world — and about myself. I had the chance to meet many inspiring people and develop my independence, adaptability, and communication skills.

Currently, I study Italian Language and Literature at Masaryk University in Brno. By the end of my second year, I’ve reached a B1 level in Italian, and I’m eager to continue improving by being immersed in the language and culture.

Alongside my studies, I work part-time as an English tutor and I enjoy working with children — for example, as a leader in summer camps. I also served as a life guard in an aquapark. I’m reliable, well-organized, and have a positive approach to life and work.

In my free time, I’m very active and creative. I love sports of all kinds – climbing, swimming, biking, hiking – anything that keeps me moving and connected to nature. I also have a strong passion for music. I play several instruments, including the accordion, guitar, and piano. I enjoy composing my own songs and expressing myself through music.

I also like to crochet and if you'd like I am very much open for teaching you :-)

I would love to join a project where I can contribute, grow, and become part of a local community – whether it’s helping with children, language practice, music, outdoor activities, or just day-to-day help.
