Hi! I'm Elicia, an easy-going girl who enjoy the little things in life. I like meeting new people and learning new skills in addition to sharing the skills I already have. Some of the things I enjoy doing are textile handy-crafts, gardening, meditating and spending time in nature. I have an abundance of patience and endurance when it comes to repetitive tasks, but I also like the creative process of new projects. Feel free to contact me :)

More details about your skills
The skills I currently posess and continue to develope ranges from textile handycrafts, gardening, baking, care of elderly and children.
I started learning textile handycrafts like knitting, crocheting and sewing from the time I was 5 years old, so it's always been a part of my life. A few years back I took a 1 year course in the basics in all kinds of textile handycrafts, so now I have basic skills in weaving, spinning, bobbin lace, plant dye and so on.
I grew up on a farm and as a part of my upbringing I was taught how to grow vegetables and tend to the garden. I developed an interest in gardening, especially permaculture and food forests. As an adult, I took a basic course in how to establish food forests, and I am currently in the process of helping establish a food forest alongside a few of my friends.
For a few years I decided not to buy any bread, but instead bake it all myself. I suceeded at that (but as a conseqence I ate too much bread and have now grown tired of it). I still like baking though :)
I currently work as a nurse assistant at a nursing home for elderly people and at a short term unit for patients coming from the hospital. I've also worked at a daycare for children for a few years.
A new area of interest is starting to imerge in my life, and that is jam-making. I find it to be very fun, and I enjoy experimenting with new fruit and berry combinations. A favorite jam of mine is quince and cardamom. It's a delicious combination!Age

What else ...
I'm hoping to learn as much as possible during my travels. I aim to expand my view of the world and of myself and others. In other words; I come with an open and curious mind.
