Hi! I’m Elena, a 29 years old italian traveler. I’m a free and independent spirit, with a strong desire to challenge myself and embrace new experiences.
A few months ago, I left home to begin a long-term journey driven by curiosity, personal growth, and a desire to discover different ways of living. Over the past three months, I have been traveling through Costa Rica. I am now heading to Alaska for a new adventure, but my journey is far from over. In September, I will return to Latin America to continue exploring the region. The countries I am most excited to visit are Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Colombia.
I’m looking for an experience that allows me to truly connect with the local community, staying close to nature, contributing to sustainable projects, and, if possible, working with animals, which I deeply love.
Over the years I have done various jobs; I have worked as a hotel receptionist, babysitter, waitress, in a library, at a tourist information point, and in a museum. In my hometown I had a garden that I took care of, so I also have experience with outdoor manual work.
I consider myself a flexible, patient, kind, determined, reliable, and punctual person, and above all, someone with a strong ability to adapt.
I enjoy challenging myself and always strive to know and surpass my limits, discovering new ways of living and having new experiences.
My main interests and passions are: mountains and, in general, trekking in nature, music, reading, writing, playing instruments, cinema, art, philosophy, and spirituality.
I speak Italian, my native language, and English, and I have basic knowledge of German and French. I would also love to learn Spanish.
I’m a solo traveler and seek authentic connections with people and places.

I am a graduate in Cultural Heritage with a deep passion for literature, arts, and philosophy.
I have a wide range of professional experiences, including babysitting, dog-sitting, private teaching, working as a waitress, barista, librarian, info point assistant, and front desk receptionist at a hotel. Lately, I’ve been doing volunteer work at a non-profit organization second-hand clothing shop.
I enjoy both intellectual and hands-on activities: I have experience in outdoor work, including gardening and general manual tasks, and I love being involved in nature and outdoor projects. At the same time, I value quiet, reflective moments and activities that stimulate learning and creativity. I am adaptable, responsible, and enjoy contributing positively to any team or project I join.
