  • Description

Hi there! We're Ebony and Angus, originally from Sydney, Australia but currently travelling the world and loving every minute of it!

We are both hard working and open minded individuals whom have many years experience across a few different industries. We are keen to explore new countries, learn about their culture, try yummy food and meet some awesome people!

Meet Ebony: I am a Veterinary Nurse back home in Australia and have a deep love and passion for all animals. My favourite part about being a vet nurse is building a relationship with an animal and gaining their trust, it is so rewarding and I miss it so much! I have mainly worked with dogs and cats but have experience with birds, reptiles, cattle, sheep and pocket pets (e.g. guinea pigs, rabbits, mice and rats). I would also LOVE to be able to work with horses and learn more about them!

I am a music lover and a huge foodie, and I believe sharing these things with others is one of the best parts of travelling. I appreciate home-cooked meals made with love and home-grown or locally sourced ingredients, accompanied with music and a bit of kitchen dancing. I have just started learning Spanish but am keen to learn some of the language of the country I'm in, even if it's just at a conversational level, I believe language, like music and food, is one of the best ways to connect us with culture.
I have an interest in photography and have dabbled in this with disposable film cameras while travelling. It's mostly for fun but I enjoy the feeling of being inspired by my surroundings and attempting to find "the shot".
I'm excited at the prospect of trying and learning an array of new skills, particularly pottery, surfing, woodworking, sustainable horticulture, although I'll try anything.
I am so incredibly lucky to travel and truly want to make the most of it, as cliche as it sounds, I am happiest when I have a sense of purpose and am living life to the fullest!

Meet Angus: My most recent profession was salesmen in the technology industry but I spent the majority of my youth in Sydney's hospitality scene. My favourite part of hospitality was the freedom of expression, I spent a lot of time behind bars creating recipes for cocktails and I often found myself putting a little piece of my identity into each drink.
I thoroughly enjoy being in the kitchen. Having been taught how to cook at a young age by my parents, I have been in and around flavours all my life. I love having the creative freedom to try different dishes and mix/match flavours to see what works. I'm excited about the prospect of working closer with locally grown ingredients and learning how to make traditional foods.
Similar to Ebony, I love music! It is one of my happy places. I used to do a bit of DJing back home and have a healthy obsession with specific forms of electronic music, like, house, techno, and UKG.
I have a huge passion for history and poitics which I studied in depth at university. I also love chatting about the state of the world and how we got here, Ebony and I have many conversations about such topics.
I'm an emotionally intelligent and compassionate young man who is eager to learn more about himself and others while travelling abroad.
