We are a young couple from the Czech Republic. We met while studying (via Erasmus project) in Estonia, and since then, we are embarking on various adventures together. We see volunteering as an opportunity to travel actively, help others and connect better with the locals.

More details about my language interests
Klári is learning Finnish, Petr French, so those are the languages we always need to practice. However, we would enjoy any other language exchange as well. Even though we're not native, we could help with English or Spanish.

More details about your skills

Petr is doing his master's degree in information security. He already volunteered here in the Czech Republic (an old church renovation, bog restoration in a national park, organising an eco camp...) and in Slovenia (on a goat farm). On the way, he picked up the basic skills needed for farm work and gardening. He loves singing and playing guitar, and is trying to learn woodworking and woodcarving.

Klári studies elementary teaching and special education. She is currently a co-leader of a scout unit. She is passionate about working with children and has artistic skills as well. She works as a teacher in a small school in the countryside. She dreams of having her own farm or orchard one day, so she is learning all the necessary skills while doing summer jobs on farms and around their family's house in the countryside.

We are both used to working hard, getting our hands dirty and even though we don't have any special skills, we will learn what's needed.

What else ...

We enjoy spending our time outdoors, especially hiking, running, backpacking, or pushing our limits in long-distance walking (our best is 100 km in 20 hours). We like to sing together and, in the winter months, seek shelter in cosy tea rooms.
