I guess you could describe me as a Global Gypsy! I am from New Zealand but live mostly On The Road in the tradition of my that fine writer Jack Kerouac. I have lived and worked in India -where I designed itineraries for companies, specialised in women only travel and introduced village tourism to the masses. I've also earned an income as a freelance writer and tour guide, a chef, social worker. Covid totally changed my roaming ways for quite a few years and I "settled down" (locked down!) at home in New Zealand where instead of mourning the loss of my business I grew gardens, made artistic stuff and continued to work as a tour guide once the borders opened.
But The Road has beckoned me again and lured me away to SE Asia and I am currently looking at semi retirement options in Vietnam.
I say semi because I still plan to return to Aotearoa NZ on Visa/family/have to taste a paua again kind of shortish visits.
I'm pretty fit, a GREAT cook, passionate about self sufficiency and conservation and generally kids and dogs
love me.

Im a lifetime learner, currently teaching myself how to cross stitch . Can drive a sewing machine and a tractor, can teach kids how to knit and eco dye and eco print. Can never remember rules for games and dont really care if I win or loose, so you probably wouldnt want me on your card table🙃
