Description
Hello! I'm a 26 year old historian from Washington, DC. I got my Master's Medieval History from Cambridge in the UK, with a BA in Medieval Studies from the Catholic University of America. I focus my research on cultural and political history of medieval europe, but also work in Colonial American history.
The fun stuff: I'm a vocalist and very passionate about music, especially Classical, Jazz, Folk, Country and Classic Rock, and I also enjoy acting and performing. I'm very interested in the arts, local cultures, and literature, so I am very happy in a museum, art galley, or old library. My big passion is hiking and outdoorsmanship, I really enjoy going on long hikes in the mountains, camping in forests, sailing along the coastline, kayaking, and swimming. Also, I'm very interested in geology (so I enjoy searching and digging for rocks and minerals in the mountains), cooking (especially seafood), foreign languages, and my Catholic faith.
My goal is to find meaningful opportunities to live with locals, to study and practice their language, and to support and contribute to those people. I especially want to learn from them and share my own culture in an exchange. So, tutoring or teaching English is the best way that I can contribute for you. I speak German and am studying Italian and French -

I am happy to teach English and intermediate German, I'm skilled at explaining grammar, phrasing, and pronunciation, and I am patient and expressive.
