Hi there,

We're Daniel & Zina - a young married couple looking for a two week Workaway adventure in October 2026. We live separately in Aarhus (DK) and Seattle (WA), and have been used to traveling most of our lifes. In fact, we actually met as part of a Workaway stay - but that's a story for another time ;)

Here's a few words about each of us:

I'm Daniel - a 31 year old self-employed Art Director working with non-profit art and music for the past 6 years. It's been a minute since I last used this platform, since I've been busy studying and working. My early twenties granted me a bunch of outstanding Workaway experiences, and now I'm eager to dive into this platform once again.

Born to a Danish father and Nigerian mother, I grew up with both tradition and transformation as guiding forces. My path has taken me from national basketball courts to underground music scenes, from crossing oceans to creating new cultural platforms. These experiences shape how I live and work: hands-on, intuitive, and driven by curiosity.

As I'm finishin my Master of Art in late May 2026, I'm preparing a short trip in the late summer with my wife, to celebrate, breathe, get new insights, and meet some of you lovely people out there.

I'm Zina - I was raised in Washington State, grounded in both Russian and American cultures, a duality that taught me early how to move between worlds.
I studied a law degree at the University of Minnesota, not because it seemed prestigious, but because it felt necessary. I believe in a legal system that protects people - all people - especially those who are too often unheard or underserved.

Over the years, I’ve found deep connection in Spanish-speaking communities across the world - from Latin America to the Iberian Peninsula. These experiences have shaped my worldview and sharpened my language skills, making me fluent not only in Spanish, but in the stories and cultures of those I work alongside as well.

About eight years ago, during one of those journeys, I met my husband in Spain.
Our cross-continental marriage bridges cultures, languages, and time zones, and it continually reminds me how love, like justice, demands patience, clarity, and vision.

We are excited to explore this platform together, and we can't wait to hear from some of you out there ;)

As a project manager my main skill is to lead and being led. I'm really good at organising and creatively solve any given problem. I'm really good at seeing connections between different fields of interest and experiment with breaking frames of the norms we know.

I only stayed with Aymar for 10 days but it was 10 good days. This man has an amazing vision of his farm which I would love to watch grow and thrive in the nearest future! My stay at the hostel was amazing! Mary and David are really good and organising and trusting the volunteers. Staying in a flat only 5 min walk from the Hostel with all the volunteers was also at least 50 % of the full experince. This connected the whole group in no time and made the stay go even faster.
