I am a responsible, committed, and proactive person who enjoys contributing in a practical and genuine way wherever I am. I see volunteering as a cultural exchange where I can share my time, energy, and dedication while learning from people and new environments.

I grew up on a farm in Brazil, where I gained experience taking care of animals, feeding them, maintaining spaces, and helping with general farm work. I have also had similar experiences in Scotland.

I have participated in different volunteer projects, including house maintenance, gallery renovations, building a greenhouse for plants, cutting firewood, baking bread, and preparing spaces in a hostel for new guests. I enjoy practical work and learning new skills.

I work well with people, animals, and nature. I am organized, reliable, adaptable, and easy to live and work with.

I speak Portuguese and Spanish fluently. My English is currently at a beginner level, but I am improving it every day through practice and real-life experiences.

Although this is my first time using Workaway, I have volunteered through other platforms before. I would be happy to provide personal or professional references if needed.

I am a very helpful and responsible person, always willing to support where needed and learn new things. I grew up in a big family with five siblings, which taught me from a young age how to cooperate, share responsibilities, be patient and work as part of a team.

For many years, my family lived on a small farm, so I have good experience with nature, animals and outdoor life in general. I feel comfortable taking care of animals, working outdoors, helping with daily tasks and adapting to different routines. I like to say I have a bit of a “biologist soul” from my childhood — I truly enjoy being in contact with nature.

I enjoy cooking and learning new recipes, especially from different cultures. I am always happy to help in the kitchen, meal preparation and daily organization. I also like having conversations, sharing experiences and teaching when I can — whether it is language exchange, daily tasks or simply small life lessons learned along the way.

I consider myself organized, respectful, adaptable and easy to work with. I follow rules, respect schedules and understand the importance of commitment and trust when joining a volunteer project. I am open to learning new skills and helping in different areas depending on the needs of the host.

I consider myself a curious and adventurous person, always open to exploring life, new places and new experiences. I am friendly, humble, family-oriented and enjoy connecting easily with people. I believe good energy, respect and kindness make any place feel like home.

I enjoy sports and staying active, as well as board games and mind-challenging games such as strategy, logic and conversation games. I played a lot of chess for many years and almost became a professional poker player, but life took me in another direction — and I am grateful for all the experiences I gained along the way.

I also enjoy exploring nature, listening to different life stories and sharing conversations — from light and fun talks to deeper and more reflective ones. For me, every person has something to teach and every place has something to offer.

I try to bring positivity, collaboration and curiosity wherever I go.
