ENGLISH:
Hi, I'm Dan, 28 year old electrician from Switzerland. I've been too focused on work and want to finally break out of the hamster wheel and go travelling!
In my free time I go swimming regularly, and when I find the time I like to go hiking or learn wood carving. I love cats and listening to music. I'm interested in psychology, ecological living, technology, politics, and love talking about those topics.
Moments I enjoy the most:
- Taking a break when hiking, laying in the grass, falling asleep listening to the birds
- Lifting heavy things
- When manual labor goes right and everything fits, works, or actually looks good :D
- Good music
I would like to work in an environment far from cars or cities, close to nature, without the time pressure I'm used to from the construction business. Less phone, less stress, more nature!
My skills focus mostly on construction, but I am willing to learn things :)
-I would love to do firewood processing :D splitting wood really gives me joy
-I am able to and enjoy doing heavy work (within healthy limits, of course)
-I have little experience with farm animals, but am open to learning. I like almost all animals.
-I am not a great cook (yet) :)
-I always enjoyed teaching and coaching the teenage trainees at my job, so I think teaching might me a good match for me!

Journeyman electrician with 4 years experience. I know a little bit of wood working. I love DYI and repairing things. I have done a two months of work on an olive farm in Italy, and the odd workaway in the countryside.
