Description
I'm a freelance writer working remotely. I have recently moved to mainland Portugal, and I'm currently exploring different regions of the country to find my little corner of the world!
I'm a huge outdoor enthusiast. I'm into climbing, surfing, trail running, and hiking—anything that involves being outside in the sun really!
I'm also very interested in living off the land and self-sufficiency. My job involves writing about sustainability, especially in the travel industry (but not only!), and I’m therefore always very curious about topics such as alternative lifestyles, rural development, and slow living!
I would love to get more practical skills in permaculture, eco-building, wood working, or just share ideas with like-minded people.
I value taking time to enjoy nature and having a healthy lifestyle—or at least trying to :). I practice yoga and meditation. I’m interested in self-reflection and always open to learning about new ideas and different points of view.
I'm not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I'm happy to try new things and learn new skills!
I can help to learn Italian, some French, and English and would love to practice my very poor Portuguese!

Thomas is super friendly and there's always a good atmosphere in the house, with a lot of people that come and go. The work is not hard and Thomas is always willing to explain you how to do it.
