Description
Hello Everyone
my name is Christopher, or Chris in short. I am 33 years old and have started a sabbatical in 2025 during which I want to travel South America with as much time as I need. The idea of this trip is to be a lot more mindful and get in contact with a lot of different people and experiences maybe mostly for two reasons - one; I think we grow a lot by getting in contact with new people and new experiences, it is an opportunity to learn from each other, but also gives us a lot of fruits to learn about ourselves. Secondly, I want to explore different things also in order to get to know myself better and reconsider what I want to do professionally in the future.
Generally - I think the best way to enjoy life is to put yourself out there and experience all the things that it offers.
Looking forward to meet!

Spanish: IntermediateMore details about my language interests
I am currently over here practicing my Spanish. I think it is now about an intermediate level (past tense, future tense and subjuntivo are still difficult), so I hope to continue practicing it! At the same time, I would love to practice a bit of English, Danish or German with people if interested. I am more the practical learner when it comes to languages tho as I am not so familiar with the grammar anymore :)
Skills and knowledge I'd like to share or learn
I'm interested in:

Charity Work

Eco Projects
Being an elderly companion
Gardening
DIY and building projects
Life at a Farmstay
General Maintenance
Helping with Computers/ Internet

More details about your skills
I have no practical education and work wise I have been working more with the PC and MS Office, at the same time, I grew up in the countryside of Germany, so that means that doing some basic woodworking, maintenance of the garden, but also with motorbikes and cars was always a part of my life and still is today. I have recently learned a bit more about mechanics and in 2023 I have been to Teneriffe on a WWOOFING on a Moringa Farm.
Generally, if you are looking for an expert in a specific field (unless it is very specific Project Management, Project Finance or Excel stuff), I am probably not your guy, but as a generalist who enjoys learning by doing / speaking and who generally gets excited to help with a lot of different things, then I am your guy. At the same time I think I do pick up on basic things relatively quickly so with a bit of instruction I am usually able to work independently.
If in doubt, pop me a question! :)

What else ...
Generally I enjoy doing a lot of different things. At the moment I am doing a course on Mindfullness and generally I love topics such as Yoga, Meditation, living presently and such.
I also enjoy doing sports, at the moment I do a bit of calistenia when I can and with my partner we are trying some different martial arts to see if something here could be interesting.
At home I loved doing different DIY things to give a balance to my computer-based-work, so this was often at my mom's place or at a friend's farm, helping with the garden, the animals, wood working or those sort of things. I also enjoy some basic mechanic stuff.
At the same time, I also enjoy time for myself - writing my journal or some short stories, reading or just listening to music.
