Hey there! I'm an easygoing, respectful, and curious traveler who loves learning new skills and connecting with people from all walks of life. I'm using Workaway as a way to immerse myself in different cultures, contribute in meaningful ways, and gain unique experiences that you can't find in a guidebook.

I find happiness in community, being surrounded by likeminded personalities and unique backgrounds is really inspiring. I am here to learn new skills and offer the skills I currently possess to help leave the earth a better place than I found it. I thrive on new experiences and learning more about the world and my fellow humans. I acquired a computer software development degree and realized I didn't want to be stuck behind a desk in an office building and have been looking for more of a way to connect with nature and give back to the world.

Outside of helping out, I enjoy exploring nature, sharing stories over good meals, and learning from the people around me. I’m happy to work independently or as part of a team, and I approach every opportunity with gratitude and enthusiasm.

I spent 4 summers volunteering building houses and fixing up houses in the Appalachian mountain range for those in need. I have a degree in Software Development (Full Stack) and spend a lot of time in the backcountry camping. I have worked in the service industry for almost 10 years, gathering experience in hospitality and high pressure situations.

I am a huge fantasy nerd. I love reading fantasy novels such as Lord of The Rings and The Name of The Wind. I aslo have been running a game of Dungeons and Dragons for over 3 years now. I am also big into music, can play many instruments and have released music on Spotify and toured the United States. Nature, Music and Fantasy are at the core of who I am.
