Hi there! I'm Catharina, but you can call me Cate. I feel very excited about travelling, meeting people from different cultures and discovering a little bit more about myself. Nature is my happy place, and I'm always looking foward to build a better world for us, the animals and the planet, and I know this can only start from the inside. A better "me" can give the best to the world, that's why self-knowledge and self-improvemet are so important to me. And certainly the Workaway experiences are perfect for this :)

I went to college and graduated as a Naturopath doctor and Yoga teacher. As I study medicinal plants (phitotherapy), I have some experience in gardening. I have given some art classes, because I make wool-mandalas (I can teach you if you'd like :)
I'm currently working with content creation for an Environmental Education Institution, so I am really interested in sustainability. I make professional videos and create content for their intagram and youtube, so video making, writing and editing are also easy for me. I love to learn new things, share what I know and I am opened to learn all kinds of things.

I love being in touch with nature, walking, hiking, and mainly getting to know different cultures. The most wonderful trip I made was to the Amazon forest in Brazil. We did volunteer work with the community, using the holistic therapies, yoga and exchanging knowledge about medicinal plants.
I also worked with enviromental education for children.
