Description
I am due to arrive in Australia and looking for exciting and meaningful volunteering opportunities to explore this wonderful country! So far my workaways have included animal care, a bit of turtle conservation, support for a disabled person and working for a social enterprise in Guatemala in the field of sustainable development. I'm really open-minded and a quick-learner and am excited about learning and developing new skills!

I would describe myself as a calm, positive, hardworking and responsible person who is always willing to give 110%! Before traveling I was a primary school teacher for 7 years in China so I'm good with children too! I also hosted a wide variety of fun events for the expat community in Shenzhen, China for four years. I love language learning and experiencing new cultures! I have done workaways in several Latin-American countries, and also in France. I´m very excited for all I will experience, learn and give in Australia!

-Animal care including chopping fruit and vegetables, and measuring and cutting raw meat depending on the animal's diet. Also cleaning and maintaining the animal enclosures, weighing and recording animal weights and applying cream to injuries
-Teaching skills (university oral English teacher for 1 year and primary school teacher for science and English 6 years)
-Very good fitness
-Hostess and event organizing skills- I organized social activities and events for a Spanish society where I lived in China for four years. I'm very sociable and good at bringing people of different nationalities together.
-Gardening. A keen gardener growing up at home, I've already helped keep various gardens in order on my Workaways!
