I'm 50 years old and worked most of my life as a maintenance fitter/welder. Looking to take a break from my current work and do some travelling. I'm very practical in my job different forms of welding fabrication and working on projects with groups of people. I'm from farming back ground so I'm used to that type of work. I like sports, cooking and socialising.

I have over 25 years experience working as a maintenance fitter welder in the dairy brewing and chemical industry. Using different forms of welding on building projects for companies. I grew up on a dairy and beef farm and also lots of tractor experience.

I had a great experience with Martin and Jorunn. They are very warm, friendly and welcoming. Plenty of food Jorunn is a great cook. The work was to paint part of the house. It was such a pity the weather was poor but we did get to paint. I will have to go back when the weather is much better. 😄

Carl was a pleasant and nice person to have around and he was easy to deal with when it came to accommodation and food. Carl was here for about two weeks and helped us paint two walls on the outside of the house and he was a great help.

When I first met Johanna and her family they were very warm and welcoming. Oh and the lovely dog Pirren also. Carl was here for two weeks and helped. Is one of the best workawayers I've ever had. He has a lot of knowledge, is careful and takes his own initiative. As a person, he is fun to be around, has a great sense of humor and is positive and helpful. Carl is always welcome back in the future.

My experience with the family couldn't be better. I was fed well by former restaurant owners. They outlined the work they wanted me to do and left me to do it at my own pace. Which was nice. They helped me with my days off by giving me lifts and advice on what to do. They even collected me from the airport so my stay got off to a great start.
