Description
Hi, we are an Australian couple, taking a year off to travel the world! We have a deep passion for travel and connecting with people from various cultures. We also enjoy sharing our experiences and telling stories about life back on our side of the world.
I am a very adventurous person who loves sport, the outdoors and, in particular, rock climbing. In 2019, I lived with host families and attended a school in Japan for 10 months. I was lucky enough to teach English and immerse myself in the Japanese culture.
Emma grew up with 4 siblings which was such a fun and lively experience. Growing up in a small country town with various animals, including horses and dogs, she has a keen interest in the outdoors and enjoys spending time around animals. She also has experience in teacher-aiding.
We have shared so many amazing travel adventures so far including a road-trip with our dog up to North-Queensland, Japan and New Zealand. We spent time together with a host family in Japan which showed how unique and special it is to travel and experience life like a local. We hope to continue to have experiences like this through Workaway! -
