Hi! My name is Cameron. I am 27 years old and from Florida. I've lived/worked in Mongolia, Ukraine, Germany, and the UK. I love working outdoors and my goal for this fall is to learn more about agriculture (especially olive groves) and work outside as much as possible. I am hardworking, comfortable living in rugged circumstances, a quick learner, and have some experience helping with animals. I enjoy writing, and would like to have some time in the evening to write. I'm available from September 25-December 10 and I am currently planning a trip through Greece (and potentially Spain) for that period with a preference for longer/more settled stays.

I have experience working outdoors with livestock (goats and horses), camping, teaching archery, and leading hiking trips. I was a volunteer firefighter for 4 years and I learned how to drive fire engines/ambulances and operate heavy equipment (chain saws, circular saws, hydraulic tools etc.) I enjoy cooking, my first job was working in a bakery and I was a teaching assistant for summer cooking classes. I am a skilled ESL teacher with 3 years of classroom experience and a fundamentals of TESOL certification. I'm also great with customer/public service and have worked in several customer service roles.

What else ...

For the past two years I worked on a USAID funded program in Ukraine, but lost my job when we were defunded. I am taking this sudden break to explore new skills, spend time outdoors, and travel.

Also, I am on reserve staff for a disaster response nonprofit in my home state of Florida. In the event of a hurricane or large natural disaster in Florida, I may be mobilized and need to leave with short notice.
