Description
We are a couple from France travelling around the world since August 2025, and we would be happy to feel useful for a while. Happy to discover ways of living/working!
Ben is passionate about cooking and can cook us French dishes ;)
Alex is a veterinarian back home in France.
We both have experience in hospitality (cook, waitress, bar tender), as we worked in this field 2 months every year when we were students :)
We can also help in farm work (lambing, calving, milking), or simply give a hand for house building / renovation / gardening (we've done a bit of renovation in our own house, and we know how tricky it can get).
We are easy-going, adaptable, and hard-working : we like to do things right!
We are in our mid 30s. We respect privacy and we appreciate that everyone needs his/her own space. That being said, we are always happy to enjoy social moments: that's a big reason why we are on workaway. In France "apéro" time is sacred ! (if you don't know what it is, just google it :))

Here are the kind of skills we have:
- Ben : definitely cooking (including for large groups)! gardening, hostel jobs (ex-barman and restaurant manager)
- Alex: animal care (vet), cleaning, gardening, painting, hostel jobs (ex-waitress)
We are not very experienced in maintenance (although we did some works in our house back in France) but we are very hard-working and we learn fast so we would be happy to learn new skills such as carpentry, masonry, etc. -
