Hello !

My name is Bastien, I'm 29 years old. I live in Toulouse, in the South-West of France. There, I worked as a project manager in social and environnemental fields, for associations.

I'm currently travelling in South America for 6 (up to 8) months, on a work-break, half of the time with some friends, and the other half alone. For now, my plan is to travel around Brazil during 3 month, then head to Uruguay, Argentina, or Bolivia, depending on what the journey will be made of and the opportunities that come !

My mains motivations are to discover landscapes and biodiversity, learn about other cultures, and improve myself in new languages (I have notions of portuguese some basic knowledge in spanish). For all that, I'm eager to meet people during this journey !

Workaway experiences seem to be a perfect way for me to achieve those different goals, while also offering the possibility to gain new skills and make myself useful on projects whose values I share

For other things, I'm really interested in history, sport, politics, music, cinema, ... I enjoy long discussion and sharing about anykind of subjects with enthusiastic people.

I'm really looking forward to some new adventure and experiences in anyway that matches - I have a pretty calm character, and I think I'm pretty easy-going in every day life.

I'm a curious person, with a high interest in hands-on projects. I've some skills in gardening, DIY, mechanics, from differents experiences and personnal interests. I also have bit of experience welcoming guests and organizing events. And, I'm no chef, but I really like to cook for me and others, something I will be glad to help with ! :)

For everything else, I'm a good listener, happy to follow instructions, and ready to get my hands dirty ! Learning as much as possible from those experiences is one of my main goals.

About my studies, I hold a bachelor's degree in applied physics (mechanics and thermodynamics) and a master degree in project management on social and environnemental topics. So I could also try to help with numbers, project organization, or basic computing issues if needed.

I can communicate in french (native), english (almost fluent), and I have some basic knowledge of spanish as well as some notions of portuguese.
