Description
My name is Brooke, but everyone calls me Bea (pronounced like Bee) and I am 24 and have currently been traveling since July 2025. I am seeking a meaningful experience for 3-6 weeks in May/June 2026 to finish out my year of travel.
I have a bachelor's degree in art education, and all of my professional work experience is working supporting people in vulnerable populations (children, orphans, people with disabilities, homelessness). My long-term goal is to be a social worker working in child welfare or with immigrants and refugees.
I am a hard worker and believe in ethical travel and learning as much as possible when you go to a new place. For me, traveling is an opportunity for language learning, experiencing new cultures, and meeting wonderful people. I cherish community and relationship building and I hope to find hosts who value the same things.

I would love to learn any new language. I do have a basic knowledge of French so getting practice would be wonderful, but I am interested in learning any language, especially Arabic and Spanish. I am fluent English speaker and would be interested in teaching and helping with fluency!

My hobbies and interests are anything art related: ceramics, painting, sculpture, jewelry making, crocheting, drawing, etc.
I also enjoy music of all kinds, especially live music, playing board games or card games - anything face-to-face. I love going into nature: hiking, camping, swimming, walking. I enjoy yoga, meditation, journaling, and self-reflection to keep my mental health positive.
